Is anyone else having problems with this feature?  You know, the page where they have the mail truck going from point A to point B so you have some idea of where your book is enroute to you?  It's not working for me and it hasn't been working for a while.  I just kept giving it time, thinking it would work itself out but so far it hasn't.  Sorry if this has been discused before, I skimmed the other topics and didn't see it.

I'm using FireFox and it seems to work for me -- but it's not like that little truck is accurate anyway.

Hi - the truck is more for entertainment than for accuracy...though if you click on it will honk :)

Click on the Details Button just above and that will give you more accurate informaton -when the package was last scanned.  I believe in order to see the truck the member had to use PBS DC.  You can also take the DC number that is in the Details page and navigate to the USPS Tracking page - paste in the number and sometimes it will give you details that you do not get on the PBS detail page.

edited - spelling

Mine doesn't seem to be working either.  It doesn't show anything on the map, and there are no DC events listed when I click 'Details.'  If I copy and paste the DC number to the USPS website though, it shows that it's been scanned three times.

My details button seems to be working fine, info has been updated up to and including todays date.

Remember when checking at USPS - that is their website so they will have more up-to-date information .  PBS I think scans their site or USPS send updates so sometimes it just takes longer for PBS to have information.  All I found in the end is that you may see enroute a few times on your detail page but at USPS it will list sorting facility, in transit, cleared sorting facility - stuff like that and they are not always consistent.  Just another way to check.

The truck is just pure entertainment --I never rely on it for information

I have a book (coming to TX from N.C.) that made it clear to Arkansas, before it apparently changed its mind over night, and is now back in N.C.

Thanks for enlightening me on the other ways to track a book!  I had no idea!

Much appreciation,
