I wanted to transfer the one credit I have on swapadvd to here but it says I must have two. So would it be okay to ask if someone who is a member of both sites would buddy me a credit here and me buddy them the one there? If so where can I ask this?

Thanks!

Um.  The credits are not one for one.  The ratio is 2:3.  Three PBS credits equals two swap a DVD credits.

You can make that kind of request in the Book Bazaar discussion forum, accessed from the Community menu.  As Emily said, the credit you'd be receiving here would not be worth quite as much as the credit you'd be giving away on the DVD site.

If you are short on credits for this site, members sell them in the book bazaar real cheap. So that might help your situation. They likely sell credits on the dvd site as well.

Oh.  In addition, the first two free credits for joining cannot be transferred.

Thanks for the help everyone! There's a book I really wanted to get and I figured it doesn't bother me much that my credit here wouldn't be considered worth as much as the one I'd be giving away there. I figure I want it so it's worth it to me :) plus its a good deal for them. But I really appreciate the heads up and the advice. Sometimes I just want a certain book so bad I can't stand it and out of $ this week.

April, the best place to do that would be in the Bazaar.

(However I could do that for you if you still need it.)
