Is there a way to trade credits for PBS money? I had bought some PBS money awhile ago, but now I don't need or want it (as PBS money). I was thinking maybe I could somehow trade it ($2) for a credit or so? Or is there a way to at least get the money back into my real bank account?

You could use your PBS money to buy credits in the kiosk.

Rebecca is correct - paying for Kiosk purchases with PBS Money is now an available option, and thus you could purchase credits (or anything else) offered there using your PBS money.

PBS money is not refundable so you can't get it back into your bank account.

Since you say you only have $2, you would not be able to convert it to a credit since 1 credit in the Kiosk is going to cost you $3.95 ($3.45 +.50trans fee). It is rare credits are even sold in the Bazaar for as low as $2. You'd have to add more money to be able to buy credits. I think you could possible buy a sticker and a pen in the Kiosk to clear the balance.

I sure wish we could do it the opposite way--convert credits to PBS money! I've got a real surplus of credits even after donating them here and there and giving a bunch to my daughter...could use the PBS money for postage. But I'll just hang on to them and they'll get used eventually.

Cheryl you can do it the round about way selling them in the Bazaar, then buying the PBS money with the proceeds. But no, selling back to the site at the PBS Kiosk rate isn't an option or the site would go broke quickly!

I know I can do that, but I don't want the hassle of selling in the Bazaar plus credits are pretty cheap there so I'd have to sell at a discount in order for them to sell..I really would end up losing money since I use the PBS postage so have those extra fees associated with each book I send, and I send a great many hardcover books that cost more for postage than your average mass market paperback too. So, nah...i will just hold on to them and spend them eventually or donate more.
