This book has some really interesting stitch patterns that can be incorporated into scarves, sweaters, afghans, etc. The variety is great. My one caveat is that the directions are minimal - the patterns lay out the steps for each pattern, with no explanation of more complicated techniques, so this isn't really useful if you're a beginning knitter or have little experience reading patterns. There are no how-to diagrams. Although, if you've ever longed for an intarsia pattern for either Jesus on the cross or Adam and Eve under an apple tree, this is the book for you. No, seriously.
