I loved the SK short story, too short if you ask me, only 60 pages. But it is classic King. The Farris stoty was a little fluff for me.

This is an AWESOME book. I actually went out and bought a second copy.

It contains two stories- one a new story by Stephen King (YOU can only get it in here) and another story by John Farris. They are both really short novels- novellas.

The Stephen King story is one of my favorite all time stories by him. IT is very moving, about the aftermath of 911- yet it managed to be inspiring too. The second story is a mystery about a reclusive painter whose models all meet a terrible fate. The main character is one of his models, and her cop fiance tries to unravel the mystery and warn her.

Both stories are very good. I recommend this book very highly.

I am a big fan of Steven King and have read all of his books, but I did not like this one. And I really did not enjoy the other story by Farris. This book was a waste of money.

The novella is an underappreciated form and this book will help reawaken a love of the short story. Great characterization and story line.
