I loved the SK short story, too short if you ask me, only 60 pages. But it is classic King. The Farris stoty was a little fluff for me.

This is an AWESOME book. I actually went out and bought a second copy.
It contains two stories- one a new story by Stephen King (YOU can only get it in here) and another story by John Farris. They are both really short novels- novellas.
The Stephen King story is one of my favorite all time stories by him. IT is very moving, about the aftermath of 911- yet it managed to be inspiring too. The second story is a mystery about a reclusive painter whose models all meet a terrible fate. The main character is one of his models, and her cop fiance tries to unravel the mystery and warn her.
Both stories are very good. I recommend this book very highly.

These are two short novels by some of my favorite authors, Stephen King and John Farris. Pretty good stories. I like the Farris one better, though.

Two books in one - Stephen Kings' The Things They Left Behind and John Farris'The Ransom Women
I am a big fan of Steven King and have read all of his books, but I did not like this one. And I really did not enjoy the other story by Farris. This book was a waste of money.
read once only once. Good condition. Good read.
Stories by Farris (long) & King (short).
good reading
The novella is an underappreciated form and this book will help reawaken a love of the short story. Great characterization and story line.
Both of the contained stories are excellent!
Stephen King and John Farris each provided a brand new tale. These were both great!
Two Novellas..the first a most poignant 9-11 story by Steven King. The second Novella is a well written, twisty model artist story. Most enjoyed.
