I read this over 20 years ago so I don't recall the specifics of the book; however, I was left with some pretty strong impressions. What I enjoyed about this was the skeptical nature of the authors, questioning everything put before them. One thing in particular that struck me was a statistic about pollution in water/edibility of fish -- and how the parts of the fish that were damaged from pollution weren't edible parts to begin with. It's good to get a different, critical perspective of things, and it's always good to question.
