I have a question.  I ordered a book from the most traveled link -- it had gone through 8 people.  Hubby read it, I posted it from my TBR list, and then when I looked on the most traveled link, it didn't show up.  How do you post a book to make sure that the footprint/travels show up?

I don't know if it allows you to actually request the exact book.  I'll have to check it out.

ETA:  You do order the exact copy.  I don't know why it wouldn't show up again, unless it won't until it is requested from you.  Submit feedback to the team and see what they have to say.

ETA:  That was my copy of Courting the Countess on there!  How COOL!!!

I ordered a book from the most traveled list once, and when I got it I was only the second person to receive it. I guess it still goes in FIFO order when you order off of that page.

Rachel,

Now that I think about it, if you clicked on the book description page from the Most Traveled page and ordered from there (the book description page), the order went FIFO, it did not order that exact copy.  You can look in your transaction archive to see the footprint of the book you received.

You have to post the book from your bookshelf, where it should be on hold.

I had a couple of books that I've posted that I'd been the sixth or seventh reader on.  When I posted them, I thought I'd be able to see them under most travelled, but I never did.  I don't know what triggers a book to show up there.

Mary -  did get the book that was most traveled.  It ordered it from that person's shelf and bypassed the FIFO, but when I posted it it didn't show up on the most traveled.

Emily --  It was on my TBR pile and I posted it from there.  I will go look on my bookshelf.
