I found the book interesting because I learned many things about the author. The book is an account of his many travels and is biographical as well. Interesting reading for those who are Michael Crichton fans.

Honest interesting memoirs of a famous author...however, he doesn't discuss any of his novels. It's a story mainly about early years in medicine, travels to exotic places, and experiences with psychics and "new age" types.
