This is an interesting book. Brek Cutler is a lawyer with a husband and a new baby daughter. She picks up her daughter from daycare and the next thing you know she is in a nether world between heaven and hell. Her suit is soaked in blood and she has 3 bullet holes in her chest. She has been chosen to prosecute and defend souls at the Final Judgment. She does not believe she is dead and she has to work through that. All the souls she sees have affected her life in one way or another. Thought provoking read.
