In this powerhouse of suspense, acclaimed author Clinton McKinzie delivers a thriller like no other, with a Rocky Mountain landscape seething with intrigue, a truly unforgettable hero-Special Agent Antonio Burns-and a tale of action and legal thrills that will leave you breathless...
Antonio Burns is used to living on the edge-of danger, of tragedy, of the law. It's what drives him up the world's most forbidding mountainsides-and dares him to take on the toughest job of his career: protecting Wyoming prosecutor Cali Morrow, a beautiful woman threatened by a stalker with a chilling agenda. The daughter of one of Hollywood's hottest stars, Cali draws Antonio into a world of excitement and celebrity..but danger has intruded as well. And as the list of suspects grows longer and deeper, as the chase takes Cali and Antonio into some of Wyoming's most treacherous peaks, Antonio can feel his own personal lifeline slipping out of his grasp-until he himself becomes the target of a madman.
