I really enjoyed The Tribune. It seemed realistically knowledgeable and "gritty", without being overly gory or gruesome. The main characters were human and complex.

Historic novel where honor triumphs over ambition, only after overcoming many difficult situations. Like many historic novels the hero encounters many historic figures, in this case Biblical characters. A gripping read.
