If you are wanting to keep track of particular threads you can mark them "watch topic" and then check on them under "Watched topics"  You first get into the topic you want to "watch" and mark it "watch topic" . When you first log into the "Discussion" page before getting into a particular forum at the top of the page you can find the "My Watched Topics" link.

There's no need to worry about losing threads due to numerous other posts. Just use the "watch topic" feature.

Also, you will be sent an email when a reply has been made in a topic you are watching.

Have any of you tried the "Watch This Topic" feature ? It's really great. If you want to see if there have been replies to a particular thread you can receive emails when there have been replies. You will not need to sort through other new topics started to find it, either. Also, if you have threads you are watching on more than one forum this feature makes it easy to follow the thread without linking in and out of various threads.

Am I the only one excited about this cool feature ? LOL

Yes, I do that, mostly on my own posts in the Book Bazzar, b/c people can't seem to follow the "please PM me about this" note ;-).  They end up replying within the thread, and then I have to search for my name, go to the post, etc.  It's so much faster this way.  It's nice to know when others have replied to you.
