As someone who was actually born on Miami Beach in 1952, and raised in, and around, Miami Beach (Central Beach Elementary, North Miami High), this book made me very nostalgic. As a trained architect, whose specialty was modern and contemporary design, this book made me very nostalgic! I applaud those seeking to preserve what's left of Miami Beach's Art Deco buildings, many of which were allowed to seriously deteriorate during the 60's and 70's.
