Book 2 in the Twilight Texas series. Trixie Lynn Parks lived in Twilight for one year when she was in her teens. Her goal had always been to be a star. After creating a scandal on Broadway, Trixie is back in Twilight as Emma Parks. She reconnects with her childhood friend, Sam, the local vet. Sam's life has been difficult since they last met. He was mauled by a mountain lion, married a woman he didn't truly love and then lost her and is raising her son that he adopted. Emma and Sam find the old spark that made them click when they were teens. Good lazy afternoon read.

Another great series by Lori Wilde.
First one in this series that I read. Now I am sorry, didn't think I would like it, but loved it. So now am going to read them all. Quick, easy, fun read.
