This is a wonderful novel in the Jack Aubrey-Stephen Maturin series, among the greatest examples of historical fiction ever. Further, the audio version is read by Patrick Tull, who is extraordinary able to switch from an Irish voice to an English, from the Lord Admiral to a lowly seaman. Truly a fine book and tape!
