This book describes Capote's childhood, his eccentric family , and gives you a good look at Southern gothic. The book is written by an Aunt(Marie Rudisill) who knew everybody and tells all! A most interesting read.

A fascinating mirror to the enigmatic character called the "tiny terror" by someone who "knew him when" - I certainly learned a lot as Truman's aunt unlocked some ot the secret doors to his complex personality- as a result, I like him even better"
