This is a great book. Having lived in Phoenix all my life, my mom and dad remembers this murder!

I enjoyed this book. It is not gorey as the title might suggest. I now have a clear picture of what probably happened based on the research the author had done. Most facinating is the background of the press, the courts, and early times in Phoenix.

this book was a real eye opener to the many dishonest and
despicable "ol' boys club" political underbelly of our
local officials. what a waste of a potential loving and
caring life this poor woman could have lived. and a lesson
to not let the local governments push us around. when you're right fight like hell for it.
