this book is clear, biblically based and the author fills in with historical information from the time. Mary Magdalene is my favorite Biblical character, so I was curious how Doug Batchelor wrote the book. I appreciated that it was biblically based. Mary loved Jesus but not with a human sexual love, but she loved him as her savior and teacher. Jesus forgave Mary and she became a strong Christian under his teachings.
