This one was offered within the past 6 weeks for $1.99 or $2.99 (daily deal).  I was intrigued by it at the time but forgot to download.  I've checked the Nook thread here and don't find it.  I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

It was the first of a trilogy about 3 sisters, daughters of an Earl? Duke?  One of the daughters was illegitimate but raised with her sisters as an equal.  The father has now died and the girls are under the care of their uncle.  The youngest, illegitimate, daughter must now act as maid to her two older sisters.  One of the sisters may be named Penelope.

This book is the eldest sister's story.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

ETA: I think it takes place in the early 1900s.

Sorry, don't know the book.

However, I'd suggest you look through the posts at Books on the Knob, since they post all the daily finds.

Thanks, I'll try that!

ETA:  Found it!  It's called Summerset Abbey by T.J. Brown.  http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/summerset-abbey-teri-brown/1110049205?ean=9781451698985

Glad you found the book!  You shouldn't let the e-book format discourage you.  Its very simple to convert say a Kindle formated book (mobi) into a Nook formated book (epub).
