I saw a book a couple years ago (published in 06 I think) that was an interactive fiction book. It was like a diary of a teen girl who had left home but was leaving messages for her family on websites and answering machines. The book contained links to visit and phone numbers to call so the reader could get involved. I think the title had a girls name in it. At the time I saw it, I thought my niece was too young for it, but now that she's older and reading a lot more, I thought it would be a good gift. Any ideas? Or does anyone know of a similar book if not this specific one. |

Ahhhh!!! I know this! I can see the front cover of the book on the shelf at the store. It was something like, " If you find this diary, call Lisa" or something to that effect. It looked like a great YA book. You could go over to www.abebooks.com and ask in the Booksleuth section over there. Someone will probably have the answer in no time for you. They have a great community of people to help looking for things just like this! I'm going to look around though, because now I need to know! |
