The best part of this book is the large amount of inside information from first hand sources. It puts you right in the action and leaves you wondering if you could have measured up. It also answered the question of why some former players held a grudge against the Bear, I had always wondered about that. I came away with a different view of Bear Bryant and a new appreciation for those who went through those first history making years.
