Has anyone read this gem?
I found it in my small town bookstore and bought it-SO glad I did! It was a great book. It's a nonfiction memoir-author Robin Scott grew up in Botswana. Her Dad was a bush doctor. Her Mom raised the kids and home-schooled them (well, her version of home-schooling, anyway, which was always funny to read about)! The story is set in the late '70s to '80s and as well as being entertaining and at times funny, the author also writes on the AIDS epedemic that started getting notice in the mid-'80s in Africa. This book was "nonputdownable" for me. :o)
I believe it was just published in 2007.
