Search - Two for the Dough (Stephanie Plum, Bk 2)

This is one of the best in the Stephanie Plum series. (I've only read through 5 so far, though!) If you want a mystery that is laugh-out-loud funny, this series delivers. My husband asked to read them after hearing me laugh so often. Now HE'S hooked! (And that's saying a lot!)

I'm very happy that it took me so long to find Stephanie Plum. Now I can zoom through the next ten or so books since they've already been published! This one has the brash, rash Trenton, NJ bounty hunter tangling with undertakers and arms dealers with the help of Grandma Mazur and sexy Joe Morelli.

I love Stephanie! I think Lula, thr "Ho" turned file clerk who always wants to put a cap up someone's ass, is hilarious. I love the fact that you can almost taste the New Jersey smog. I love the daft granny! Sometimes books you can read in a day - just for a laugh are worth as much as pulitzer winners.

I absolutely loved it. This was the first book I have read by this author. It was funny yet the story line was riveting. Had all that you want in a mystery, with a charasmatic heroi9ne, but the prose was humorous. Will see k out this authors books.

While this is not Shakespear it is a really fun book as are all of Janet's books in this series. A funny writer and moves along nicely.

I am just finishing the 3rd book and am enjoying
the matuation of Miss Plum and fellow characters.
