I have just started listening to Body Movers by Stephanie Bond on my Ipod - good series or not?  And I am getting ready to start reading A Tisket, A Tasket, A fancy Stolen Casket by Fran Rizer - what do you think of that series?

I've never heard of Fran Rizer, but I've been a Stephanie Bond fan for years, since she started with category romances. I think she segued into romantic/suspense/with some humor quite well. I have the Body Movers but haven't started them yet (I assumed there's a touch of humor in them but I could be wrong) .

I read the tisket tasket and it was ok - I didn't like it enough to grab up the next ones right away..still haven't gotten around to getting them.

I've read 2 of the bodymovers..I'm on the fence..the basic story is this young woman about to graduate or just graduated and wealthy - her father is accused of a crime and he and themom up and disappear leaving her to take care of the younger brother...the younger brother is immature and a criminal himself..I get so angry reading these with her STILL taking care of the worthless idiot at the expense of her own life. then hints about the parents surfacing after all this time keep appearing  - oh and 3 love interests..a cop, the doctor who's the main 'bodymover' who has personal problems of his own, and the exfiance who dumped her when the going got tough. there's been some mystery in the first 2 and some humor but I just can't stand her brother and don't want her parents to ever show up..plus the 3 guys hanging in the balance is ick.

I've read the body mover books 1 and 2 and have the rest waiting for me 3 - 6.  I laughed out loud in spots.  Her brother is trying - trying to go straight - trying because he's making a bad effort to quit gambling.  Trying to work a regular job and doing it but it doesn't bring as much money as he's like to have.  Plus he's an unreformed hacker with a probation officer that he has a crush on.

Another series she has that made me chuckle was the Mojo books.  I read In Deep Voo Doo and have Finding Your Mojo to read.

I have Fran Rizer's book because they sound like my type of thing but haven't gotten to them yet.

Sadly I have a large TBR pile and even though I'm a speedy reader I keep getting new authors and books because I belong to this addictive booki swap site called PBS.

I didn't really like the Fran Rizer books - I read the first two and won't read more.

I have the first two or three books in the Body Mover series, but haven't starting them yet.

I've read the first 3 Body Movers books, and I really enjoyed them.  I have the next 3 in e-book format, so they're on my eTBR.

I just finished the Fran Rizer book and I will probably read the next one.  It was an easy read and I did not figure out the ending very quickly.  I also finished Body Movers and loved it.  I cannot wait to read the 2nd one.  It really held my interest and I was shocked by the ending!!!!

I couldn't stand it any longer - all the talk about the Bond books had me antsy so I dug out the first book and started it last night. Unfortunately I'm in the mood to catalogue my books so I've been doing that today. It's cool and dry here, ideal weather for hefting bags and boxes of books around.

But Body Movers is starting off good - only on chapter 6 but liking it a lot.

I read 50 pages of "Tisket" then tossed it in the to be sent pile.  Did not like the main character, or frankly any of the characters.
