I was curious to get this book as I enjoy reading fictional stories based somewhat on facts, but not presented as "this really happened". The book is a very quick read. It took no time at all to read through; However, I could be wrong, but it seems to me as though this book comes forth as "truth" from a Seventh Day Adventist point of view. A good deal of the footnotes are from Mrs. E.G.White herself.
Perhaps I was so badly disappointed because I expected it to read like stories, but found a combination of "facts" that seemed to be disjointed.
