Who has read this and is it worth picking up?  I have an offer on it and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not.  I can't say that because it's young adult I won't because some of my favorite books are young adult (i.e. Twilight & Harry).

I really liked the first 3 Uglies books (Uglies, Pretties, Specials) but didn't like Extras :-)

I just finished Specials. I really enjoyed the books. I like the writing style. I haven't read Extras. It sounds like that is an  epilogue to the other 3. I am going to read it at some point and I'm also going to read Westerfeld's other YA books (which I have I think)

I think it's totally worth reading.

I absolutely loved the first 3 books.....Didn't care for the last one.  I highly recommend them.  I didn't know what they were about before hand and  for a long time I didn't pick them up because I thought it was a book about a girly clique or something.

I agree with everyone else. The first three were great, the 4th not so much. I think because it was new characters in the 4th, and I'd become attached to the old ones. There just wasn't enough story about them in the 4th book.  Otherewise the series is one of my favorites! Up there with Twilight even. :)

I, too, loved the first three. Have to put the last one on my WL or get it at the library.

Good to know. LOL I just added the first one to my WL the other day and now I'm even more excited to read them. :)
