If you are planning on getting a dog this book is great. It offers tons of information on most breeds of dogs including how much grooming and excercise their breed requires, how much they eat, how big they grow to, what kind of temperment they have and more! It is a great book to let you know if a certain breed is right for your family and also gives you the history and origins of each breed. Also includes a section on choosing a dog and the care that is involved in owning a dog. It helped us pick out a breed that was perfect for our home and family!
