This lovely picture book is about the author's 3 year-old daughter Momo and her impatience, through a period without rain, to use her new umbrella. The last sentence, when she finally gets to use the umbrella, is "it was also the first day in her life that she walked alone without holding either her father's or her mother's hand."

Highly recommended to read to preschoolers from three years old up.
