Why?   The book rolled over from  the first poster due to no response, then was accepted and timed out on day 5 by the 2nd poster.  No RC rejections involved.  Shouldn't this have then automatically gone to my WL?

Jeanne - check your RL.  If there were no other wishers for the book and no available copies, it probably was put on your RL.

You should have an email telling you where the book went. They sometimes lag so check your Club Communications.

You are certain it isn't on your WL and just sorted weird? You checked all the tabs on your main My Account page to make sure the book is not there somewhere (like someone got the request, printed, and marked mailed very quickly). You don't have an RC at all so you are certain that it didn't go to your RL because there was a copy that didn't meet your RCs? Sometimes the system will tell you there are no copies to request when it is a copy that was just rejected by your RCs.

Jeanne, if I understand correctly, you requested a book that rolled over from one member due to no response and then timed out from the next member because it was not marked mailed within the 5-day limit. A book cannot be added to your WL as long as it is posted by another member, regardless of your history in requesting it. Books can only be added to one's WL if there are no copies of it posted. The best you can do if a book is posted is to put it on your RL.

ok, found it on my RL........thought if you "ignored" orders for your book that it was removed from "posted" list on your shelf.

You are correct Jeanne, if both of those members did not respond to something and the transactions timed out, their books are removed from the system. The only kind of copies that would remain in the system and stop your request from going to your Wish List are copies that were denied due to you having an RC so your request would not cycle back to that copy.

If you want to know exactly why it went to your Reminder instead of your Wish List, send in Feedback. We can only guess what the scenario is without knowing the book and not being able to see the actual trail of activity, the PBSTeam can tell you what happened and why.
