Everything I expected in a Guy Gavriel Kay novel. Epic characters, grand scope, compelling, diverging and marvelously interwoven plot lines and that horrible sense that I'm reading a huge novel in one sitting and oh, no, I'm going to be done in just a few hours.
I've got all his novels. I reread his novels. I'm going to reread this one, too.

A great read - well written, deep, about a soldier and the gift that changes his life and the lives of those around him.
