This book was full of suspense. I really enjoyed it. You pull for the main characters and hope things happen. Towards the end it gets exciting, and it leaves you wanting to read more of the story.

A call girl in Tyler - it's hard to picture. But Vic knows she's in town, hiding out with the child he's being paid handsomely to retrieve.
Daphne isn't proud of her past, but that doesn't mean she's about to turn over her daughter to another one of her mother-in-law's hired hands.
It's a game of cat and mouse...until Vic no longer knows whose side he's on. And Daphne can't bring herself to run anymore...
