This book took me back to college. I was able to relate to some girls and could relate some characters to friends and aacquaintances. I too, have read "Smashed" and "Pledged" and thought this book would be along the same lines, but it wasn't. The other two books read more like short stories or essays. "Unhooked" had more research, more "characters," and it was hard to keep all of the girls and their hook-ups straight. However, I enjoyed the book and finished it in a few days.

I tried with this book. I've read Smashed and the book about sororities, so I figured this one would be ok. It didn't flow as well as the other 2 books did and I haven't completely finished it yet. However, when I found my dog chewing it up, I took that as a sign. Seems she doesn't like it either.

I think any young girl should read this book, it makes you think and makes you walk in their shoes.
A great book to be used in an all women class, to reflect on life and our choices.
