This thrilling and suspenseful novel takes us to the desert in Saudi Arabia where fugitives are trying to find AlQuaeda terrorists. The fugitives are also being hunted. This story is very compelling and I will read this author again.

This is not my typical choice of book. That said, I found I couldn't put it down once I started...The thread through the whole book is of a person who has no identity of his own, and assumes one with dogged determination. There are side stories which fit well with the whole. I've never been in a combat situation but I think the action parts of the book were believable. The stoic determination of the few versus the political jostling of the western hunters was a good contrast.
