I have "Oultander" bk. 1, paperback, with lots of wear all around the edges, creases down the spine, and small bits of the cover on the top have been torn off - not a lot, the biggest area missing is only 3/4" wide and 1/4" deep.  Also, from pages 609 to 618, a tiny bit of the corners were torn off - but it doesn't affect any of the words.

Also, I have "Voyager" bk. 3, paperback.  It has two creases on the front cover, on the top right corner and on the bottom right corner.  The one on top is kinda big and the one on the bottom is medium-sized.   It also has many creases down the spine, and has lots of wear around the edges.

Last, but not least, I have "The Fiery Cross" bk 5, Hardback.  It is missing it's dust jacket.  So you will get a book with a plain red cover, with some sort of floral  (I think) design imbedded into the cover, and the lettering on the spine is in gold coloring.  The pages inside are in perfect shape, except for the inside title page, someone wrote "lynne" in pen, but it isn't too big.               edit: I've been informed that Hardbacks don't need a dust jacket to be considered in good condition, but I think that it is part of the book, and I would want to know whether it was missing or not.  

Since I found all of these at Value Village I cannot guarentee that they come from a smoke-free home, but I have sniffed :-) the pages and they don't smell smoke-like to me.
