I think this book was a bit darker than the first, esp one of the side characters. Don't want to give any spoilers but that didnt' turn out the way I'd hoped though hard to tell if it'll be continued or not. And as another person mentioned, I'm also wanting to read Gabe and Frootloop's story! I enjoyed this book though - a young widow trying to live again with a vicious media and even more vicious stepdaughter and an entire country practically hating her for marrying her love. She wants to be taken seriously and left alone. The hero ..sigh..liked him too! Nice romance from this author. will definitely be looking for the next!

This, the second in Ms. Ridgways trilogy, does NOT disappoint! A great follow up to How to Knit a Wild Bikini. This one brings us sister # 3. Juliette is the young widow of a much older military man. In her quest to find peace as a widow she ends up finding the love she never thought she could have. A must read for any Christie Ridgway fan!

I really like the way the author is carrying characters through each of the sisters' stories. The main characters as well as the rest of the cast from first story reappear here a supporting characters, but their roles aren't just window dressing; we get to know them better. And I have no doubt Marlys and Dean will show up in the third book as well. And I wonder if the author plans another book or two since she mentions two adopted brothers. Either way, I'm looking to more fun from this author.
