I have the name of a book that based on other releases by the author will most likely be released about March of 2010.  There's nothing about it on Amazon, sniffle.  I don't want to forget it.  Is there a way to put it on either my WL or RL?  Di I just have to make a not to myslef somewhere and keep checking?

The author's web site has hints of the book bur no real information about it.  I found the first chapter in the book I just finished.

Any advice?

I thought that might be the case.  I was hoping the was a way to get something on my RL though.  Now I'll have to make a note and remember where I put it!

Thanks Jeri.

If it is a fiction book, go to

www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/

and put the suthor's name in the search box.  That will usually tell you what and when a book is going to come out.  That's how I get most of my pre-release ISBN's.  Then you can go to your TBR and add it.  If it is in the system, it will add the book to your TBR.  Click on the book  on your TBR to take you to the book's listing page and adfd it to your WL.  Then delete it from your TBR.

ETA -  that site gives you a link to Amazon's listing for both UK and USA Amazon's books which gives you any ISBN and info on the book.

Take another book by that author-add it to your reminder list and use the Note feature to put the book title's and when it's supposed to come out.  The little note thingy will only show to you and when you look at your reminder list you'll see it and well be reminded to keep checkign for it.

You can sometimes go to the author's or publisher's websites.  If they list the ISBN number, you can search PBS for it.  Which should trigger the system to search for it.    It usually takes a hour or so for the data to show up.

Sometimes the book that is "supp;osed" to be out at a certain time isn't.  Amazon won't have it.  You can look everywhere for it, and it won't be there.  Usually the publisher or author is the best source for when or why.  One author I want has a book that was supposed to be out by now.  It isn't.  Now the ISBN is real and authentic.  the title is correct.  But the author says he hasn't written it yet and it won't be out until he's through with it.  So it's coming out when he's done and not before.  For this author the date that is being shown now is the year 2035!!
