Hello!  I absolutely devour books and I'm usually good about remebering any new authors I come across.  I recently read a book and cannot remember who the author is and I want to read more.  I hope someone can help me.  The basic premise was...Our hero was an urban treasure hunter.  He and his lady friend went to a get together where he thought he was going to be a speaker.  He wakes up from being drugged in front of an old hotel that was the scene of his last treasure hunt and much grief.  Meanwhile, his lady friend wakes up in a house with several other people.  These people were chosen by the "evil mastermind"  for their strength and he wants to play a game with them.  They all end up in the wilderness and he provides them with clues to escape, get food and water, etc.  Some are killed for not following his instructions.  Meanwhile, our hero is searching for clues to find his lady friend.  That's sort of it in a nutshell....  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.  And...I love this place!
