for my 'freebie' (one a month), do I have to continue using Printable Postage for all my other books I send out?   Thanks. Pat

Standard members get 1 freebie print per month regardless of whether or not they use additional printable beyond that

No. You do not. Each book has the choice. (I try and save mine for the ones over 13 ounces.)

Thanks.  I thought I read somewhere that if you started using Printable Postage you were locked in

and I want to have the choice.  Pat

I think there is a button to switch the default to postage. Mine is set at without postage. So each time I use postage, it needs to be deliberate.

Wow, I didn't know you had the option of using the "free" one when you wanted through the month.  I always just assumed it was the first book you sent each month that automatically used your free fee.

It is your first use of the PBS Postage in the month. I think she means she only uses PBS Postage on certain pages, not that she picks a certain package for the free one. Its applied to the first use of PBS Postage of the month just in case that's the only one of the month.

I used to go back and forth between using postage, DC only, and no services often when I worked right next to a PO.

I just used printed postage for the first time (first month as a paid member), and I had to tell it to do the printed postage. As far as I can see, you have complete control over when in the month it gets used.

The fee is free, not the postage. I try and save it to use on books that are over 13 ounces, so I can blue box them rather than going to the counter or the machine.
