Has anyone ever used one of these?

I got this as a gift, and it's the silliest thing I've ever seen.  I'm fairly certain that the little cat toy inside will come flying out the minute I use it, probably popping me in the eye (thank goodness for myopia and glasses).

Yep, I'm with Paige.

I like the ones with the little balls on the ends of the sticks.

I was right.  I tested this by washing it with my usual method of washing whisks: whisk the soapy water until the whisk is clean.  Little cat toy flew right out.  Actually it's advertised as being easy to clean, because the toy is designed to be removed and to come apart.  This happened when it hit the floor, and I discovered the suprise:  there was a little marble inside the cat toy that rolled under the stove!  I'm leaving it there, and freecycling the rest. :)

Never have seen one and it looks a little strange.   I'm with you, I would freecycle or toss.
