greetings. i was just wondering if there is a way to use the delivery confirmation available to me through my partners business acct to achive faster credit swap.

i have several books in the mail, all labeled via this system, all including free DC. why couldnt i get the same credit status as if id used the internal shipping with DC?

No.

The quick/instant credit feature and the credit guarantee that goes along with it are only made possible by the fees paid to use the PBS-DC and PBS postage, so only those using it will get those benefits.  You can use PBS- DC only and pay the postage from somewhere else, but you can't use a DC generated outside of PBS to get the quick credit.

 No, I don't think so.

Can I get Quick/Guaranteed credit if I buy Delivery Confirmation elsewhere (not through PBS)?

No. Unless your Delivery Confirmation was purchased through the PaperBackSwap system, your books will not be tracked on the map nor will they be awarded QuickCredit or CreditAssurance.

Because PBS uses the portion of DC they get from selling it on the site, where they don't get anything from DC purchased elsewhere. Buying hit here PBS gets 27 Cents...

...What PBS provides, which justifies the additional $0.27 fee, is the service of mapping your books across the country, receiving 'quick credit', and being indemnified against possible misdelivery or loss of your book....

yeah it's the fee that PBS collects for the postage and DC that funds the credit if a book goes lost.
