My bookshelf is currently on vacation hold (simply because I have a nice stack of credits, I have no wishlisted books to post, so, let another members books be requested - maybe a newer who is eager and waiting for credits ). I have put most of my wishlist on auto request, but, am wondering about the others (thoses I'm not really, really sure I want LOL). i'm wondering what is the difference between a wishlist book being on vactaion hold, or just on hold? Does one continue to move up the queue, while another is stagnant? I've checked the help doc's, but, can't seem to find it there.

It moves up the line in either hold.  You'll just get passed over if you hit #1 until you unhold them.

The bookshelf works differently.  Vacation Hold books continue to move up FIFO. But books put on individual hold lose their place in line.

If you have your shelf on vacation hold and your wish list books set to auto-request, you will be offered the book and the system will order it on your behalf when it comes up.

If you have your shelf on vacation hold and your wish list books on hold, you will continue to move up the line, but will not be offered the books.

If you have your shelf on vacation hold, but do not have the wish list book set to auto-request you will be passed over, but will retain your place in line.
