Is it possible to put a hold on my Bookshelf, but not my Wish List?  I will not have access to my books for a while, but I will be able to receive books.

You can put your entire shelf on hold, however it removes your books from the FIFO line, so when you removed said hold you would be reposting the books at the end of the line.  That's the only way to stop the outgoing without also halting the incoming.  eta: I stand properly corrected :)  I didn't know that autorequest would still go at it even under a Vacation Hold.  This forum has an amazing failsafe in the form of knowledgeable members, and thank goodness for that! lol

The books you want to receive should be placed on autorequest so that you don't miss out on them.  You can then put your shelf on vacation hold.

Just autorequest your WL and put your account on vacation.  If you get to #1 and it's posted it'll automaticallly order  the book as long as you have credits.

When you put your account on vacation hold, your books on your bookshelf will NOT lose their place in FIFO line. That only happens when you place individual books (from your bookshelf) on hold.

Make sure you put on the auto request before putting the shelf on hold.  There is an option to select the whole WL.  Have heard that books added or placed on auto after the vacation hold are not on auto until after the vacation hold.  (Have never tested this.)
