This is a very well-written, thought-provoking book by the author of "Drowning Ruth." It deals with women's friendships, greed, etc. I recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book and found it really entertaining. I was surprised it was written by the same author as Drowning Ruth - which I thought was a total bore and tough to read!

I couldn't get beyond the first 75 pages. Disappointing considering I truly liked her Drowning Ruth. Hope someone else likes this.

An interesting read about two friends on two different paths in life and how they end up changing each other. While this book is hard to get in to at first, the narrator mostly whining about her life, the way she selfishly turns her friends life in to chaos is really intriguing. From her friends point of view you see her get pulled more and more in to ideas that you just want to scream NO at her. It really takes a good look at the idea of not being happy enough with what a have and always trying to keep up with the Jones.

I thought this book was good but the back of the book says "funny and fast-paced"; I found neither to be true. I thought it was pretty dark & it dragged in places for me. It's a drama, not a comedy.
