I have a subscription to the vegetarian times, so i thought that this cookbook would be perfect for me-i was wrong, though. i found the recipes to be a little bland and outdated, as what happens when one finds vegetarian cookbooks from the eighties and earlier. they were too basic of recipes for me. some other people out there who are just begining to experiment with vegetarian cooking may really enjoy this cookbook, but for me, i was pretty disappointed.
I gave this book a three star rating. Published in 1984, I found the information a little out of date. The new findings on foods and nutrition are constantly changing and being updated. New ingredients are being introduced. New ways of buying, preparing and cooking have become available too. It is worth looking at to get some ideas.
