Rebellious Captive...
Trained as a Crow warrior woman, Kalina fought with knife and teeth against the hated Blackfoot enemy -- until the fierce brave, Two Shadows, vanquished her in battle. When she tried to resist him, the arrogant, vengeful savage dumped her in the river, flung her up behind him on his horse, then forced her to lie beside him on his sleeping mat, as if she were his slave. But though she'd die before admitting it, the heat of his strong body, the very beating of his heart, sparked something deep within her. She longed to turn into his muscled arms, to feel the full length of his lean body pressing against her burning flesh.

Relentless master...
Two Shadows already had enough on his mind. The Bluecoats were building another fort and trying to force his people from their native lands. Then, when the band of Crows attacked, it turned out their fiercest fighter was a mere woman! He would make her his slave, and he would make her pay, for it was her tribe who had killed so many of the Blackfoot people. But as he wrestled the raven-haired woman ot the ground, the touch of her soft fesh aroused in him a need he knew he must fulfill -- a need to carry her to the heights of rapture and to become Kalina's beloved Velvet Savage.

Very good book. Kalina, a Crow female warrior, adopted by her Crow father as a young girl, gets taken captive by an enemy warrior, Two Shadows, of the Blackfoot tribe. This BF tribe didn't take slaves but Two Shadows claims her as his. They fall in love. Two Shadows mother is white and he has a twin sister. The Bluecoats are preparing to attack the mighty BF tribe to rescue the white woman. Lots of drama and a good story. Keeps you interested.

Cover wear, heavier in creasing. Pages are fine.
