The story of one man's role in the Civil Rights movement and beyond, read in an understated manner by the author himself. I don't know how one person could possibly participate in more pivotal times in the nation's history than Vernon Jordan has. He tells of a truly fascinating time in our country's history, and how he became the influential figure he is. This is an unabridged reading.
