This is a beautiful book about the history of veteran and vintage cars. It begins with the earliest cars powered by steam and goes onto the first motor cars. There are a lot of great color and black and white photos of the early cars. The Mercedes Simplex Tourer of 1902 was a beauty. There are great pictures of the early Rolls-Royce, Austin, Cadillac, Renault, Hotchkiss, Wesley-Siddely, Gardner-Serpolier, and De Dion Bouto and many others. Along with a printed history of these vintage beauties. There are also pictures of the early racing cars. Also, there are pictures and the history of early motor car ads. This is a great book, a must read for those who love old vintage cars.
