Biographical novel about Queen Victoria of England. Very focused on her personal life with a smattering of politics, though we get the sense that the Queen wasn't all that interested in politics except where it affected her personal life anyway. Very interesting for the most part. After Prince Consort Albert dies it sort of drags. I wonder if the author did this intentionally? as in her version, after he dies Victoria is pretty much just waiting to die as well.
