I'm all for religious freedom, but these kinds of rulings strike me as goofy. What other holidays would we have to get rid of if this stands? The government isn't endorsing religion, or making anyone pray. Just recognizing that some of its people do indeed pray.

I think religion should stay completley out of GOVERMENT period this is a fact that  I get more upset about all the time I hate politicians who want to pass laws based on religious beliefs in any form

National Day of Prayer is not a holiday.  And I think it should be unconstitutional.  Because obviously, it means Christian prayer.  I can see the wailing and nashing of teeth if a Muslim organization decided to hold prayers across the nation at a certain time.  Terrorists! 

People can pray all they want, but keep it private and not recognized "nationally."
